The Minister’s Corner
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Finding the Right Path
I’ve been inspired by so many happenings as of late that it’s hard to know where to start this week’s article. If I could write two full pages of all the ways in which Father amazes me I would… but the list is truly endless and it would not accomplish my duty of ministering to Christ Jesus’ extended flock. What I can say though, is that over and over again the bottomless depths of Her love has been shown to me and it’s a true testament of Her faithfulness and loyalty to Her creation and how all glory belongs to Her.
Each day, we must go through life and life is a series of ups and downs, happiness and joy and sadness and disappointments. Life is not easy and it is not always fair either and dealing with these ups and downs can be quite a challenge. At times the worries and anxieties of life in this world currently belonging to Dawn Lucifer can be overwhelming. Whenever we encounter a crossroads, we can often initially feel boxed in, confused, hopeless, lost, discouraged, depressed… and it’s at these times that we must master our emotions and exhibit self-control and cling tightly to our faith and trust in our heavenly Father and creator.
I think most of us have encountered situations in which we’ve tried to solve on our own without seeing Father’s guidance and in turn we find ourselves hitting one or more brick walls on the path we thought was the best to take. We may even feel with all that we are that this path is either the only path, or the correct path in which to travel down. But that may not be so.
At any point when we encounter a difficult situation or decision that we must make, is the time in which we must slow down, take a deep breath, carefully consider all our options, and simply wait. What? Yes, I said wait! We must patiently wait for Father to work through us, or those around us, to show us the path that She wills us to take and we must also have faith, that Her will, will be revealed in perfect timing and we must trust in Her that the path, regardless of what it is, is the right one for us.
Proverbs 4:26 “Carefully consider the path for your feet, and all your ways will be established.”
At each crossroads of life, we must stop and consider the path our feet are taking. Take time to pray to Father and meditate and ponder our options, always listening to our hearts and feeling sincere surrender to Father’s will for us. Careful consideration is what will open yourself up to hearing and feeling Father’s love and direction, so that we may then walk forward without fear. Surrender is required because the path revealed may not be one in which we initially thought it might be. Father hears all our prayers, but Her wisdom surpasses anything we could possibly imagine.
Proverbs 5:21 “For a man's ways are before the LORD's eyes, and He considers all his paths.”
So once we’ve done this, how do we know that a path is right? To put it most simply, there are no brick walls. Things move along smoothly and sometimes even swiftly, and suddenly we find ourselves carried away in Father’s will. Everything comes together, and we are able to find peace can calm in knowing that we are doing the right thing, because Father makes a way where before none existed.
Psalm 23:3 “He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name's sake.”
Are you not fully convinced that Father can and will make a way when before none existed? Think of the Israelites and the parting of the Red Sea. No path existed for them either, and yet Father made a way for them to escape Egypt; which was essentially a path, across the dry bed of the Red Sea.
Isaiah 43:16 “This is what the LORD says— who makes a way in the sea, and a path through surging waters,”
In times of difficulty, have hope. Have faith. Have trust and surrender to Her will. Know in our hearts that when we go to Her for Her guidance, the waters will be parted and the right path will be revealed and She will tenderly love and care for us each step of the way as Her beloved child.
The Lighthouse Of Hope

The Lighthouse of Hope
Sits on a quiet and peaceful slope;
It shines out into the current
And warns you of the impending torrent.
It will help you on your heavenly trek,
And prevent you from becoming lost and shipwreck.
It shines out into your darkest night;
It’s your everlasting illuminating light.
The Lord is there in our spiritual boat;
He guides us and leads us and keeps us afloat.
His light shines out into the black;
It fights off and stops every attack.
He is our strength when all else fails;
His love and power always prevails.
When it looks like all hope is gone,
God’s hope and mercy will always live on!
Stay Close To The Good Shepherd Or Be Buffaloed
Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
After a seemingly endless campaign, the President Elect of the United States was sworn in on Jan. 20, 2009. The inauguration was opened and closed with prayer. Rev. Joseph Lowery, a longtime United Methodist minister, gave the benediction. As I listened to him speak, I was saddened when I heard the following: “And as we leave this mountain top, help us to hold on to the spirit of fellowship and the oneness of our family. Let us take that power back to our homes, our workplaces, our churches, our temples, our mosques, or wherever we seek your will.” What? Did he just say that those who worship in temples and mosques seek Your will? Let’s take a moment and review just which religions worship in a temple.
Greeks and Romans worshipped many gods in their temples. Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Jews, Ayyavazhis, Zoroastrians, Christians, Bahá'í/s, Mankhims, Confucions and Shintaoists. That’s 13 other main religions apart from Christianity.
Muslims worship in mosques.
That brings the total up to 14 other main religions apart from Christianity covered in that statement.
Exodus 20:3 Do not have other gods besides Me.
The very first commandment given to Moses was very clear. Do not have other gods besides me. Yet more and more people are adapting a belief system of inclusion and equality in the religions of the world. As the population searches for peace and understanding amongst warring countries, tribes and neighborhoods, many have turned to political correctness in order to find a common ground in faith.
Exodus 23:13 "Pay strict attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips.
A popular idea in today’s world is that all religions worship the same god. That they may call their gods by different names, but that it is the same god.
Deuteronomy 6:14 Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you,
In the Word, God tells us She has only one name. Yahweh. All other names like El Shaddai, Adonai and Elohim mean God or Lord. They are not her name. She is our God. She is our LORD. But Her name is Yahweh.
Exodus 3:15 God also said to Moses, "Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.
Micah 4:5 Though all the peoples each walk in the name of their gods, we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.
This muddying of waters is one of Dawn Lucifer’s snares. If you believe that the Word (The Holy Bible) is directly from Father and is the truth, there is no room for misunderstanding exactly what is held within it. In the Holman Christian Standard Bible, Yahweh’s name is mentioned 73 times. Father does not say we can call her anything we like. In fact, She is quite specific.
Isaiah 42:8 I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, or my praise to idols.
We live in perilous times. Now more than ever it is important to have knowledge and understanding of the truth. Now more than ever it is vital to STAND BY the truth.
Deuteronomy 28:14 Do not turn aside to the right or the left from all the things I am commanding you today, and do not go after other gods to worship them.
Deuteronomy 13:13 that wicked men have sprung up among you, led the inhabitants of their city astray, and said, 'Let us go and worship other gods,' which you have not known,
Finally, while our Savior Christ Jesus walked the earth, he shared these important words.
The Narrow Way
22 He went through one town and village after another, teaching and making His way to Jerusalem. 23 "Lord," someone asked Him, "are there few being saved?"
He said to them, 24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because I tell you, many will try to enter and won't be able 25 once the homeowner gets up and shuts the door. Then you will stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord, open up for us!' He will answer you, 'I don't know you or where you're from.' 26 Then you will say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets!' 27 But He will say, 'I tell you, I don't know you or where you're from. Get away from Me, all you workers of unrighteousness!' 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but yourselves thrown out. 29 They will come from east and west, from north and south, and recline at the table in the kingdom of God. 30 Note this: some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last."
The truth is there in the Word. Search for it. Meditate on it. Pray on it. Seek Yahweh’s wisdom and do not lean on your own understanding. Do not be led by man or man made religion. Hold fast to what is fine. Remain humble. Remain patient. Remain obedient, faithful and loyal. And in all things, lead with the love our Father has placed in our hearts and offers to us each and every day.
Kindness in Harsh Times
Luke 9:41 — Jesus replied, "You unbelieving and rebellious generation! How long will I be with you and put up with you? Bring your son here."
The definition of “kind” —
1. of a good or benevolent nature or disposition, as a person: a kind and loving person.
2. having, showing, or proceeding from benevolence: kind words.
3. indulgent, considerate, or helpful; humane (often fol. by to): to be kind to animals.
4. mild; gentle; clement: kind weather.
5. British Dialect. loving; affectionate.
It is interesting that the word “kind” first came up with the adjective definition, rather than the noun definition. It is also interesting that there are two different ways of using the same word, and how much of a difference it makes in using either definition for the same word. It brings to meaning and an amount of importance the reasons why words are sometimes understood in context.
Although there were occurrences in scripture that told of how Christ had been firm and filled with zeal for Father, which may seem to contradict some ideas, the whole time, Christ held firm to the Way, not to mention being the Way. Christ always held to doing righteous acts, which includes having a kind attitude. The scripture quoted above may not sound like there was much kindness involved, but it may be important to note a couple things. First, if Christ was not being kind, as according to the adjective definition of the word “kind,” then He would not have told the individuals to bring the son to Him. At a second instance, Christ had been on the planet for quite some time, and the ministry was continued for a bit of time, so the faith and belief of the people should have been quite a bit larger. So, as a rebuke, He makes a statement that should really even hit home for those of us that are currently living humans in the fleshly world. A rebuke like this comes from a heart of love, for if He did not care, His rebuke wouldn't be written three times.
Proverbs 13:24 — The one who will not use the rod hates his son, but the one who loves him disciplines him diligently.
1 Corinthians 13:4 — Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited;
And now, one of the more difficult parts of kindness, as well as love, is having this when the conditions are not as easy. It could be imagined that being kind is a difficult feat when one is being persecuted, but even Christ had this strength, which is also exemplified in His followers. This strength doesn't come from the world or from within oneself, but from Father's Spirit, because without Her Spirit, without Father, we are weak, helpless, and incapable.
This sort of kindness is also not self-serving, with any external motivation. It might be said that one does not have to have a reason to be kind, while at the same time, it is difficult for one not to be kind when Father's Spirit is blossoming in their heart. In another instance, Father's Spirit is not of fleshly design and weakness. So, when one's flesh is being tormented, either by hunger or other pain, Father's Spirit can remain strong, which emanates kindness and love. Her Spirit also helps to stay strong with faith and conviction, so if the flesh is not a factor in one's faith in Father, then that is another hindrance removed from Father's Spirit flourishing.
In all of the tribulation and harsh times that are still ahead, there still isn't a reason why one cannot be kind, and not self-serving. It all takes Father, and Father is abundant everywhere (as we are always within Her and surrounded by Her, even made of energy that belongs to Her), and it is always a good time to strive towards Her in favor of Her Will in all things, regardless of the blocks and waves that evil tries to put in the Way.
The Way – Part 5
This week we continue looking at Wrong Attitudes to be Avoided. We will be sharing what has been given to us, but in groups of 3. Before our Ministry holds Bible Study each week, we pray to Father Yahweh for guidance and help in understanding Her Word. We pray the wisdom imparted will find its way to your heart where it may be written up on it. Amen. http://www.biblegateway.com can be used as a reference tool with the Holman Christian Standard Bible as the recommended version.

Nourishment From The Throne
“For the LORD gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6
Judging – Part 2
You serve to warn of the judgment of those whom make up the Temple Class. The failed Shepherds. This is in addition to the masses that are warned of the coming wrath, because those Shepherds share a heavier guilt.
Malachi 3:1, 5 "See, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant you desire—see, He is coming," says the LORD of Hosts. "I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the widow and the fatherless, and cheat the wage earner; and against those who deny [justice to] the foreigner. They do not fear Me," says the LORD of Hosts.
1 Peter 2:5 you yourselves, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?
2 Corinthians 5:6-10 Therefore, though we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord—for we walk by faith, not by—yet we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord. Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or bad.
People of all nations are put on judgment when Christ finishes the taking of Kingdom power.
Matthew 25:31-32 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. (This is when he arrives after the Rapture, for Armageddon. The judgment of the wrath to be administered.)
The Basis for judgment.
Matthew 25:40, 45 And the King will answer them, 'I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me. Then He will answer them, 'I assure you: Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me either.
John 13:20 I assure you: The one who receives whomever I send receives Me, and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me."
John 12:48 The one who rejects Me and doesn't accept My sayings has this as his judge: the word I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
John 3:19 This, then, is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.
Adverse judgment means everlasting destruction.
Matthew 25:41, 46 Then He will also say to those on the left, 'Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels! “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
2 Thessalonians 1:9 These will pay the penalty of everlasting destruction, away from the Lord's presence and from His glorious strength,
2 Peter 3:7 But by the same word the present heavens and earth are held in store for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Favorable judgment means preservation to prospect of everlasting life under Kingdom Rule.
Matthew 25:34, 46 Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. "And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Execution of Divine judgment in the day of Yahweh's vengeance.

Sighting of 'turbine UFO' in Cotmanhay
Jan 22, 2009
A woman from Cotmanhay is convinced she saw a UFO on the same night as one was reported to have crashed into a wind turbine. Janette Jeffrey insists the yellow ball she saw in the sky was not an aircraft and must have been the UFO which made national headlines after supposedly wrecking the generator in Lincolnshire.
UFOs On The Rise In Bucks County
Jan 22, 2009
Residents in a Bucks County town have their eyes on the sky after a recent rash of U.F.O. sightings. Star watchers have their cameras trained on the air above Bucks County as a large number of residents have reported numerous strange lights and bizarre shapes hovering in the area. Joseph Vigilante says he recently caught glimpse of a U.F.O. above his Doylestown store, The Bagel Barrel. "It looked most like a star except for the rapidly changing color to it and it was far brighter than any other star in the sky," he said.
Southampton UFO enthusiast baffled by lights floating above the skyline
Jan 23, 2009
Two new videos have surfaced on the Internet of unidentified mystery objects hovering above the Southampton skyline. It is the latest in a long line of sightings to suggest that extra terrestrial life is out there and interested in Hampshire. The bright lights were shot from a house in Hedge End by a UFO enthusiast who wished to remain anonymous. He said: “I’m still having trouble trying to work out what they are myself, they are in a fixed position to start and then you clearly see the two lights moving apart.”

Description: My girlfriend and I were in the upstairs bedroom of her house in Deal, Kent, UK. We decided to smoke a cigarette, as we have children to consider we smoke by an open window. After the first few puffs I noticed what i thought was a very bright orange star very low in the sky, such that it was slightly obscured by a tree in the foreground. I pointed it out to my girlfriend, who also saw, then commented on the fact that it was moving up in the sky. We watched it and dicussed the fact that it didnt look like a jet or a star (we could see and hear a jet in the sky to the right of the object, identifyable by red and green nav lights and white strobe). The object moved swiftly and in a perfectly smooth and straight path that appeared to be an upwards direction in the sky, until we realised it was getting larger. It proceded to pass directly overhead, at which point we could make out its shape slightly better. My girlfriend descibes it best as the fatter half of an egg at the leading edge with an orange aura, the back half was slightly unclear, and kind of looked like tentacles streaming behind it (Trying to put some proportion to it – If the half egg shape part of the object was an inch long, the streaming tenticle part was also an inch). As the object went directly over head, we raced downstairs and out of the front door to observe from the front of the house as it passed over (I'd like to note that it was completely silent, we could hear and see a passenger jet in the distance at the time, but this thing was eerily silent).
Enormous rise in local UFO sightings
Jan 23, 2009
FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. – January 23, 2009 (WPVI) — Saturday a portion of the Delaware Valley goes under scrutiny for a phenonmenon that has baffled the experts. It happened last summer and has caused such a stir that several hundred people are expected to analyze its meaning. The concept has captivated Americans for generations. Is there life beyond Earth? In 1947, unidentified crash wreckage near Roswell, New Mexico sparked worldwide attention. More than 31 years later, the sci-fi hit Close Encounters of the Third Kind rekindled a wave of interest.

Gender-bending chemicals in our rivers grow more potent
By David Derbyshire
January 19, 2009
The cocktail of gender-bending chemicals entering rivers and streams is more potent and harmful than anyone realised, it has been revealed. Scientists have found an entirely new class of chemicals that is changing male fish into females – and which could be contributing to the soaring rate of infertility and defects in men. They have yet to find the source of the chemicals, known as anti-androgens, but believe they could come from pesticides, industrial pollution or pharmaceutical drugs.
New RFID Technology Allows You to be Tracked WITHOUT Your Knowledge
January 18, 2009
By invitation, I recently visited a remote facility in northern Virginia to see a demonstration of NOX – a new Intelligent Perimeter Defense system deployed by the FBI that uses covert Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to track people and assets without their knowledge. That’s right, using RFID to track people without their knowledge. This system is exactly what the privacy advocates have long feared: Big Brother tracking us with spy chips. As Orwellian as this sounds, the undisputed fact is that this system catches thieves and does so at a fraction of the cost of traditional security solutions.

Long lines at food pantries due to rising unemployment and food costs have pushed resources to the limit. But a stimulus plan may not go far enough. NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — In his Senate confirmation hearing Wednesday, Treasury Secretary nominee Tim Geithner told a sobering story about the economy, talking of a severe recession that has cost the nation millions of jobs. He also mentioned a sobering anecdote. "At the food bank where my wife and son volunteer, the lines are long and getting longer," Geithner said.
Barack Obama sworn in again, but without a Bible
by Philippe Naughton
January 22, 2009
He's sorted out the legalities, but could Barack Obama have made the first political mistake of his presidency? After constitutional law experts questioned the validity of his swearing-in because of a fluffed line in the oath of office, Mr Obama moved quickly to quash speculation that his presidency was in any way illegitimate. John Roberts, the Chief Justice charged who helped bungle the oath on Tuesday, was summoned to the White House and, in front of a small pool of reporters, Mr Obama carefully and accurately repeated the 35-word oath prescribed by Article 2 of the Constitution. The problem was, no-one thought to bring a Bible and Mr Obama decided to go ahead without one.

Mexico man 'dissolved 300 bodies'
24 January 2009
A man arrested by Mexican police says he disposed of 300 bodies for a drugs gang over the past decade by dissolving them in chemicals. Santiago Meza, called the "stew maker", said he was paid $600 (£440) a week to dissolve the bodies of murdered rival gang members in caustic soda. He was presented to the media by the Mexican army after being arrested on Thursday near the city of Tijuana. Over 700 people died in the US border city last year in an ongoing drugs war. The Mexican army says it believes Mr Meza's claims are true. "They brought me the bodies and I just got rid of them," Mr Meza told journalists at a construction site where he disposed of the bodies over a 10-year period. "I didn't feel anything."

Sobbing parents rushed to the scene and to nearby hospitals. Shocked rescue workers spoke of finding crying, bleeding toddlers scattered inside the center. Medical workers at six hospitals sprang into action, performing emergency operations to save the 10 children and two adults badly wounded in the attack. "This was a particularly violent attack. All the kids had multiple stab wounds on their legs, arms, and all over their bodies," Dr. Ignace Demeyer, head of emergency services at Our Lady Hospital in nearby Aalst, told reporters.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Barack Obamaa has plans to reward the allies that helped him topple Hillary Clinton from her throne by making total unrestricted abortion in the United States his number one priority as president. Focus on the Family's CitizenLink has decided to remind its supporters that more than one year has passed since Obama made his vows to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund that abortion would be the first priority of his administration. "The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act," Obama said in his July speech to abortion advocates worried about the increase of pro-life legislation at the state level.

I have been a mechanic/service manager to automotive repair shops for several years, but was laid off about 3 months ago and I am having the most difficult time finding another job because all of my experience is in the automotive field. St. Louis is just a real tough area for this industry. I have been out of work for 3 months so therefore I have no income and the bills are really stacking up. I am literally about 2 weeks from being evicted with no where to go if that happens and my roommate has a 10 year old son and they would both be in serious trouble if we get kicked out. I owe a to for rent, gas, electric, water/sewer, trash and it is only getting worse. Plus my car was re possessed a few days ago so that makes things extremely tough. I have applied for unemployment but that was several weeks ago and I still have no answer from them and I try to call several times a day but they are so busy I can't get through. It always says they are too busy to put me on hold and says to call back between 8 and 5:30. I am in desperate need of some sort of financial assistance and a job. Is there anyone or anywhere that can offer any type of help? If so, I would be extremely great full for anything. If you know of any agencies that can help, or if you could make a cash donation to my Pay Pal I would really appreciate it. I am not just looking for a handout. I will do anything possible to pay you back. If you are able to send a donation, please do so by sending it through Pay Pal. My email address for Pay Pal or any other info you can provide is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help.

Case #31: EvictedinIowa – Council Bluffs, Iowa – It is January 26th, 2009. My rent was due no later than January 5th 2009 and has yet to be paid. I have been unemployed since September of 2008 due to an irresponsible career move on my part. I quit a perfectly good job to acquire my insurance license at my best friends husbands newly opened business (opened 3 years ago). He took advantage of my extremely good work ethics and commitment (40-50hours a week) and failed to pay me for the months of July and August of last year so I gave my notice and left. Have applied for over 100 jobs and have not found one since. I have even applied to deliver the newspapers locally and can't even get that job. I have 3 wonderful children and no income other than $777 in child support. Rent is $800 a month with the responsibility of all utilites which run me $350 a month currently. I have to feed my children and pay all these bills on that. I have sold my beautiful bedroom set to pay Octobers (2008) rent and used my eldest childs money to get the car fixed to pay the next months rent. I went to Interfaith agency and Salvation Army for Decembers rent and cannot return to those for 1 year. I have called churches and other agencies but there are no funds and the churches donate to Interfaith to help those in need. I am struggling here and in tears because me and my kids have no where to go. My eldest is in college and I fear may have to leave college to help mom cover bills. Please Please help if there is anyone that can. I have even reached out to old friends begging for temporary work and they don't call back, probably because they don't want to let me down. If you can help, I would be forever thankful. Next months rent is due next week and I will once again be in the same boat as I am now. I feel like it's a tangled web I have weaved because of the stupid career move I did. Please help.
Signs in Natural Disasters
“You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:6-7
Unknown Arkansas Fault Can Trigger Magnitude 7 Earthquake
Jan 22, 2009
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A previously unknown fault in eastern Arkansas could trigger a magnitude 7 earthquake with an epicenter near a major natural gas pipeline, a scientist said Wednesday. Haydar Al-Shukri, the director of the Arkansas Earthquake Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, said the fault is separate from the New Madrid fault responsible for a series of quakes in 1811-12 that caused the Mississippi River to flow backward.
Second Cyclone Hits Madagascar Destroying Buildings, Flooding Streets
Jan 21, 2009
ANTANANARIVO, Madagascar — A powerful cyclone hit the west coast of Madagascar Wednesday, destroying buildings, flooding large areas and cutting off thousands of people, officials said. Cyclone Fanele made landfall on the African island nation at dawn, said Dia Styvanley Soa of the National Office for Disasters Preparedness. She said there was heavy rain and winds of up to 130 miles per hour.
Florida's freeze chills crops, tropical fish
Jan 23, 2009
Several days of the coldest temperatures South Florida has seen in years are threatening to ruin orange groves, cucumber fields and tropical fish ponds across the state. "This is peak harvest season for many Florida crops, so damage at this time could have significant consequences stretching far outside Florida's borders," Florida Agriculture Commissioner Charles Bronson said. Freezing temperatures hit South Florida on Wednesday night for the first time since January 2003, said Amy Godsey, deputy state meteorologist. Interior areas such as Lake Okeechobee saw temperatures as low as 23.
Death rate of West's old-growth forests doubled
Jan 22, 2009
The mortality rate of old-growth forests across the West has more than doubled in recent decades, and those forests are now losing more trees than they gain, according to a new study that identified the most probable cause as warming temperatures. The trend is happening at every elevation, in trees of different sizes and of various species, researchers with the U.S. Geological Survey and universities reported in the peer-reviewed journal Science.
Even Antarctica is now feeling the heat of climate change
Jan 21, 2009
It's official: there is nowhere left to hide from global warming. The notion that Antarctica is the last continent not to be heating up because of climate change is dead, according to a new study. The results suggest that the southernmost continent is warming roughly as fast as the rest of the planet. They overturn previous suggestions that only the Antarctic peninsula, which stretches points north towards South America, was heating up while the continent's interior cooled.

CALIFORNIA – Study finds troubling pattern of Southern California quakes – Large earthquakes have rumbled along a southern section of the San Andreas fault more frequently than previously believed, suggesting that Southern California could be overdue for a strong temblor on the notorious fault line, a new study has found. The southern stretch of the San Andreas fault has had a major temblor about every 137 years. The latest one looks to be overdue since the last big temblor was in 1857 which, at an estimated magnitude of 7.9, is considered the most powerful earthquake to hit Southern California in modern times. Until now, scientists believed big quakes occurred along the fault roughly every 200 years. Preliminary analysis of additional research suggests that the time interval between earthquakes may be even shorter, something on the order of 100 years. The findings are significant because seismologists have long believed this portion of the fault is capable of sparking the so-called Big One that officials have for decades warned will eventually occur in Southern California.
TROPICAL STORMS –
A cyclone warning is current for communities between Whim Creek and Exmouth in northwest Western Australia. At 9am on Monday a tropical low was 205km north-northwest of Karratha and 315km north-northwest of Onslow, moving southwest at 5km/h. The Bureau of Meteorology warned it might develop into a tropical cyclone as it moved closer to the coast.
HEAVY SNOW / EXTREME COLD –
AFGHANISTAN – A series of avalanches have killed at least 10 people in Afghanistan and authorities were still searching for those feared missing. The avalanches hit the southern part of the Salang Tunnel on Friday, the main highway linking southern Afghanistan with the north of the country and to central Asia. The avalanches swept away at least 12 passenger vehicles as well as several machines used for clearing snow to keep the highway open. "In total, so far, we have recovered 10 dead people and rescued some 40 – 11 of whom were hurt by the avalanches. Work is going on to rescue those who are feared trapped."
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – A blanket of snow has covered a mountain in a part of the United Arab Emirates, a RARE PHENOMENON for the desert Gulf country. Al-Jees mountain, 5,700 feet (1,737 metres) above sea level and 25 kilometres (15 miles) northeast of Ras al-Khaimah city, was covered in 20 centimetres (eight inches) of snow. "Although limited snowfall was recorded on the mountain some years back, for THE FIRST TIME THE PEAK OF THE MOUNTAIN WAS FULLY COVERED IN SNOW." Temperatures plunged to minus 3 degrees Celsius (26.6 Fahrenheit) on Friday and again to below zero on Saturday. The emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai also had heavy rains on Friday and Saturday, in a spell of RARE chilly weather in a desert state where summer temperatures can reach 50 Celcius (122 Fahrenheit).
EXTREME HEAT / WILDFIRES / DROUGHT / CLIMATE CHANGE-
Europe's lost mist 'boosts heat' – The number of foggy, misty and hazy days is diminishing across the continent, say scientists who have analysed the meteorological data. This clearing of the air in the past 30 years may have amplified the warming of Europe. Since the 1970s, European temperatures have risen by about half-a-degree Celsius per decade. This warming rate is faster than the global mean change (roughly equal to 0.18C per decade) and the trend averaged over all the Earth's land (roughly equal to 0.27C per decade) during the same period. The regional climate models used by scientists have failed to simulate the European experience; legislation that has cleaned up Europe's air is the probable cause. This has limited the presence of the tiny particles, or aerosols, in the atmosphere which help trigger the low-visibility phenomena. With fewer fogs, mists and haze, more of the Sun's energy has been reaching the surface, leading to a rise a rise in temperature. The team's analysis suggests the clearer air's contribution to the background warming trend may have been about 10-20% across Europe as a whole; and in Eastern Europe specifically, it may have been as much as 50%. The decline in the low-visibility phenomena has slowed since 2000. "We conclude that the large improvements in air quality and visibility achieved in Europe over the past decades may mean that future reductions in visibility will be limited, possibly leading to less rapid regional warming."
AUSTRALIA – New research shows the top half of Australia will be little affected by climate change, while from Brisbane south the effects will get stronger and stronger. Canberra tops the list because it doesn't have the ocean to moderate temperatures. Next come Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide and Perth. Sydney and Brisbane will fare a little better, although their climates will still change significantly. And the north will escape the worst of climate change, although it will get wetter. People – and farmers – are predicted to move northwards as the climate changed in the south. But even northern areas will still be hot. The climate should be cooling as the world heads for another ice age in 20,000 years time. So if temperatures are rising, that is alarming. "If we put enough CO2 in the atmosphere we'll prevent an ice age happening."
CALIFORNIA – Winter in Los Angeles has felt a bit like summer of late. The National Weather Service says Monday was the city's ninth straight day with temperatures in the 80s; a RECORD FOR JANUARY. A high of 82 degrees was recorded at a University of Southern California weather station near downtown. The city's previous record of 80-degree temperatures was a seven-day stretch in January 1983.
TEXAS – Central Texas is currently the driest area of the country and it's experiencing ONE OF THE WORST DROUGHTS ON RECORD. 71% of Texas is in some stage of drought. The cattle are paying a price for the lack of rainfall and are even hungrier than they appear. The cattle chase feed trucks every time they hear one coming. "No rain … no grass … no grazing. These cattle are living on hay and feed until fields see green again." "On a scale of one to ten, ten being the worst … I think we are at a nine."
ISRAEL – The Water Authority has proposed a ban on watering lawns in public parks to combat one of the WORST DROUGHT'S IN ISRAEL'S HISTORY. The Water Authority is also considering a complete ban on watering gardens, both public and private, including lawns and other landscaping, but would only implement such a ban in a worst-case scenario.
ARGENTINA's government may lose $4.4 billion in export-tax revenue this year as the WORST DROUGHT IN DECADES damages the country’s soybean crops.
Corn jumped for a second day as dry weather damaged the Argentine crop. Rain is unlikely with only a marginal chance of rain early next week when temperatures cool.
AUSTRALIA – Dust storms are expected to sweep through parts of Victoria, while strong winds and soaring temperatures could create ideal conditions for a major bushfire. "Whether or not we see anything like the big dust event from 1983, at this stage, (is) probably a little unlikely, but not out of the question." The temperature in Melbourne is expected to reach 34 degrees, while Mildura in the north is forecast to top the state with a high of 37.
ANTARCTICA is melting. Scientists used to think Antarctica was bucking the trend on global warming by getting cooler. Now it seems they got it wrong. US researchers have pored over data from satellites and weather stations in the biggest ever study of the frozen continent's climate – and found it's warming after all. The finding is alarming. Scientists now estimate the melting of Antarctica's massive ice sheets will cause the world's sea levels to rise by one to two metres by the end of the century. That's bad news if you live near the Australian coast. "In some areas where you've currently got housing, you'd probably have to abandon those areas." The sea will penetrate up to 1km inland in flat areas like South Australia's lower lakes. Large areas which don't see flooding now would get flooded by king tides. House prices for coastal areas will probably drop. Scientists already knew that the massive ice sheets of western Antarctica were melting, but the study showed they would melt more quickly. The study is also bad news for climate change in general. It had been thought Antarctica's cooling would help restrain global warming by acting as a "cool pack", but this did not appear to be the case. The US study found that eastern Antarctica – which includes the Australian zone – is getting cooler. But this is outweighed by western Antarctica and the Antarctic peninsula, which are warming. Over the past 50 years much of Antarctica has been warming at a rate comparable to the rest of the world. It had been thought Antarctica was cooling partly because of the hole in the ozone layer, which allowed the hot air out.
Meanwhile, a major ice shelf is about to break away from the continent. The Wilkins Ice Shelf is said to be "hanging by a thread" from the Antarctic Peninsula, the strip of land pointing from the white continent towards the southern tip of South America. "It really could go at any minute, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the final cracks started to appear very soon." The eastern region of the continent, which is larger and colder than the western portion, is warming at 0.1C per decade, and the west at 0.17C per decade – faster than the global average. "What we found, in a nutshell, is that there is warming across the whole continent, it's stronger in winter and spring but it is there in all seasons." Over the last 30 years, satellites have also shown that sea ice is slowly growing in extent around Antarctica, which some observers say indicates a cooling across the continent or at least in the surrounding seas. But wind patterns were probably the main reason. "If they're blowing northwards you can grow ice quite quickly and in contrast if they blow southwards the ice can contract quickly, whereas in the Arctic it's much more constrained (by land masses). So this positive trend in the Antarctic is certainly not an indication of any cooling trend."
Climate shift 'killing US trees' – Old growth trees in western parts of the US are probably being killed as a result of regional changes to the climate, a study has suggested. Analysis of undisturbed forests shows that the trees' mortality rate has doubled since 1955. The loss of old growth trees could have implications for the areas' ecology and for the amount of carbon that the forests could store. "The trend we're seeing is a prelude to bigger, more abrupt changes to our forests."
Our Earth is being altered to the point where it cannot sustain much of the life that has thrived for millennia; species extinctions today are occurring at an estimated 1,000 times the normal rate. The global environment is rapidly reaching a tipping point, much like our global economy. Once it passes that point, it will be all the more difficult to pull it back to stability. When our landscapes, rivers and coral reefs can no longer sustain robust species populations, humans are also in trouble.
TEXAS has and continues to experience a protracted period of intense and violent wildfires. Multiple and continuous cold fronts across a wide area of the state characterized by extremely high winds and RECORD LOW HUMIDITY have created optimum conditions for numerous spontaneous and violent wildfires.” Thursday and Friday 45 intense wildfires had been reported and 31 of those were burning more than 10,000 acres. Extreme fire conditions are expected through the course of the coming week.
HEAVY RAINS / FLOODING / LANDSLIDES / UNUSUAL & OUT-OF-SEASON WEATHER –
AUSTRALIA – More than 56 per cent of Queensland – an area almost the size of South Australia – is now eligible for disaster relief funds after recent monsoonal weather. Thirty Queensland communities have been declared disaster zones, with the damage bill estimated at more than $60m. Floods have cut major roads into the state's northwest for more than a week and the communities of Normanton and Karumba are expected to be isolated for at least another six weeks.
PERU – Heavy rains have damaged part of Peru's famed Nazca lines, depositing desert clay and sand on top of three fingers of a geoglyph shaped like a pair of hands, an archaeologist said Monday. Water from the UNUSUALLY HEAVY RAINS washed off the nearby Pan-American highway and pushed sand and clay onto part of the site Sunday. The damage is minor. Nazca's dry and windless climate has preserved the mysterious lines for more than 1,000 years since they were etched into the desert sand by indigenous groups who cleared away rocks and small pebbles to form the shape of animals and other figures. Fully visible only from the sky, they are one of Peru's top tourist destinations. Archeologists have warned the lines are vulnerable to flooding. But this was the first known instance of rain damage.
TASMANIA – Gale-force winds have wreaked havoc in Tasmania with Hobart residents urged to stay indoors as trees and power lines came down. The gusts of more than 125km/h in the state's south damaged roofs, cut roads, including the Tasman Bridge, and sent a large gum tree crashing onto a bus in central Hobart, injuring a woman. Power has been cut to 19,000 homes, while the strong winds also fanned several bushfires. Smoke from several bushfires burning out of control forced the closure of major roads and highways.
EUROPE – French and Spanish rescuers battled today to reopen roads and railways, douse forest fires and restore power to nearly a million homes plunged into darkness by hurricane-force winds that killed 21 people. The majority of the deaths were in Spain, where four children died near Barcelona when the roof and a wall of a sports hall were brought down on their heads by winds that in some places reached more than 180km/h. They were playing baseball outside the centre as the storm – which saw 20-metre-high waves battering the Atlantic coast – gathered force and they ran inside to shelter. Witnesses said they heard a loud sound, then saw that the roof and part of a wall had crumpled. Twelve died in total in Spain, including a woman who was crushed by a wall, another who died after a door lifted by the wind slammed into her, and a police sergeant killed by a falling tree as he was directing traffic. Hundreds of Spanish firefighters – backed up by 14 planes and helicopters – battled three separate forest fires sparked by electricity pylons brought down by the tempest in north-eastern Spain. The storm was ONE OF THE FIERCEST TO HIT WESTERN EUROPE IN A DECADE. It blew in eastwards from the Atlantic Ocean, barrelling across south-west France and northern Spain – ripping roofs off houses, pulling down power lines and flattening hundreds of thousands of trees. Today it battered Italy, where a young woman was swept away to her death by a wave as she was walking on a beach near the southern city of Naples. The winds had lost some of their force but were strong enough to destroy a restaurant in Imperia on the Mediterranean coast and to force some Italian ferry operators to cancel their sailings. Huge forest areas of the Gironde and Landes regions were flattened by the storm; more than half of the trees in the area appear to have fallen. In 1999 a tempest killed scores and uprooted millions of trees.
SPAIN – Parts of Spain that spent the start of the weekend in the grip of violent storms now face the threat of wildfires. Blazes caused by fallen power lines have been burning in the regions of Valencia and Catalonia. In urban areas, people are still counting the material cost of hurricane-strength winds.
TSUNAMI / FREAK WAVES / ABNORMAL TIDES / RISING SEA LEVELS –
Studies show the pace of sea-level rise could be increasing. Last month, the White House released data collected by the U.S. Geological Survey that estimated sea-level rise at 1.64 to 4.59 feet by 2100. That is nearly triple what the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found just two years ago. Sea levels around Atlantic City, New Jersey, are currently rising about 4 millimeters per year, more than in other areas along the Atlantic Coast. Accelerated sea-level rise could increase coastal flooding, storm intensity and the ongoing destruction of tidal marshes and barrier islands in southern New Jersey. Barrier islands could break apart and disappear beneath the water, while the encroachment of the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay could push tidal marshlands farther inland. The situation is comparable with the Mississippi River basin near New Orleans, where the rapid deterioration of barrier islands during the past century helped create an open path for Hurricane Katrina to inundate the city with devastating floods in 2005.
VIRGINIA – During a two-month stretch that is historically chock-full of wave action, the surf has been largely unrideable since early November. Surfers describe it as either “Lake Atlantic” flatness or disorganized wind swells 1 to 3 feet high. Virginia Beach isn’t known as a surfer’s paradise when it comes to quality surf, but the latest spell of poor conditions has local wave riders scratching their heads. Late summer, fall and winter, the tropics are at their hottest and coastal low pressure systems flare up with more regularity. These storms produce long period groundswell that can overcome the area's surf setbacks. But during a more than two-month stretch dating back to Nov. 8 – the day after the last sustained 24-hour period of waves larger than 5 feet – the ocean has been mostly dormant. The antithesis of a "perfect storm" has led to these conditions. "There haven't been any systems coming off the coast of New England that would produce the long period northeast swell that would reach our area, and nothing has come up from the Southeast or tropics." The reason is the extreme southern track of the Arctic jet stream, which has been diving down over the Rocky Mountains then turning east at the Gulf Coast before tracking back north, well off the Eastern Seaboard. That leaves a ridge of high pressure over the East Coast and prevents significant pulses of low pressure from forming. Long term models do not show much change in the pattern.
COLUMBIA – A possible new eruption of the Nevado del Huila volcano forced authorities to evacuate villages and settlements at risk of being flooded in case of an eruption. The mudslide following an eruption of the volcano in November last year killed several people and destroyed a large part of Belalcázar, a town on the banks of the Rio Paéz. About 4,000 people living near the river are now evacuated. Disaster authorities are monitoring the volcano and will evaluate how long the people will be forced to stay away from their homes.
INDONESIA – Hot mud geysers on the site at a geothermal power plant drilling project at Mataloko village in Ngada regency, East Nusa Tenggara, are growing in number and steadily spewing, frightening local residents. As of Wednesday, the outflows have flooded nearby plantations and destroyed cropland as plant employees improvise mitigating ditches and geological experts still on the way. The first three eruption points have seen sporadic geysers of mud and materials that have yet to be analyzed. The geysers, as high as 1.5 meters are spewing hot mud measured at a temperature of 120 degrees Celsius. The eruptions have by now formed a crater 100 meters across. Initially the outbursts broke through the surface in only three spots. Now, however, a number of other eruption sites have formed. Residents have expressed concerns the mud could contaminate their wells or cause various illnesses. Several residents said they had stopped employees of the geothermal power project from digging a ditch to channel the outflow into a nearby river, for fear the mud would contaminate their source of water. “That ditch has overflowed by now and the mudflow has inundated residents’ corn fields." At least 300 people in 30 families live near the geothermal drill site.
HAWAII – Kilauea Lava Hits Ocean at New Location. There's a new development at Kilauea, something unseen in 18 months. Lava has hit the ocean and this time, it is happening in a whole new place. But the stream is so small, it doesn't even create a steam plume. (the latest pictures from the new ocean entry point near Wahaula)
CHILE – Chaitén's Caldera Chugging Chunks Continuously – On January 19, an explosive dome collapse occurred at the volcano. A thick plume of ash and steam blew from the volcano’s summit approximately 70 kilometers (38 nautical miles) to the north-northeast. Chaitén Volcano had been dormant for more than 9,000 years when it erupted in May 2008. In the months that followed, the volcano remained active, releasing plumes of steam and volcanic ash, coating local vegetation, clogging waterways, and inundating the nearby town of the same name.
HEALTH THREATS –
CHINA faces a "grim" situation in preventing and controlling human cases of bird flu, the health minister said, after announcing four human infections in the last two weeks and three deaths. The three recent fatalities have all fallen ill in areas where there have been no known cases of bird flu in birds. China vaccinates heavily for bird flu, raising concerns among some experts that the vaccines could be masking the presence of the virus. Since the H5N1 virus resurfaced in Asia in 2003, it has infected 391 people, killing 247 of them. At least 34 people have been infected in China and 23 have died.
H5N1 hits Nepal for first time; strikes another Indian state.
AUSTRALIA – At least 170 people have been struck down with the WORST OUTBREAK OF DENGUE FEVER SINCE BEFORE WWII, leading authorities to declare it an epidemic. So far, 161 people in Cairns and nine in Townsville have been confirmed to have contracted the mosquito-borne disease. The Cairns outbreak was of a type of dengue fever more virulent than that found in Townsville. Cairns is dealing with an outbreak of a strain of dengue type three, believed to have originated from Indonesia. More people were having to be taken to hospital, with one person requiring several days in intensive care. "We are really concerned how quickly the number of cases have grown, how quickly it has moved to a range of different suburbs, the short incubation time which makes it difficult to control and the fact it's making people sicker. People are getting sicker than we normally see and children are getting sick where as previously children weren't necessarily getting sick."
MYSTERY BOOMS –
ARKANSAS – 1/20/09 – From rattling windows to big loud booms, Sequoyah County residents reported feeling tremors earlier this week, and now officials are investigating the matter. The reports come from as far north as Marble City and as far south as the Le Flore County border. Calls have been pouring into the county sheriff's office. Residents say they heard rumbling noises, and saw their windows and sliding glass doors shaking. Officials say there is no evidence at this time of seismic activity, but they'll continue to look into it.
NEBRASKA – 1/20/09 – loud booms heard in Grand Island Tuesday night and Wednesday morning are believed to be starling control measures or the acts of curious youth. The Central Platte Natural Resources Distric began shooting off propane cannons last Friday night around dusk for about seven to 14 days. But Grand Island/Hall County Emergency Management said the 911 center received calls about loud booms from “one end of town to the other,” and the calls came after dusk. They were reported between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Tuesday and again around 7 a.m. Wednesday. “There were no reports of fire, no reports of damage, no reports of power outages or any infrastructure damage.” The boom almost sounded like a “sonic boom” that is sometimes heard from traveling aircraft. Calls to the Central Nebraska Regional Airport were not immediately returned. Area youth may be experimenting with something like a “dry ice bomb.” When dry ice is dropped into a 2-liter bottle of water, a loud explosion can be the result. The technique has been featured on the cable television show “Mythbusters.” The city of Grand Island has contracted with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for starling control in the past, but no such work is currently under way. “The city has not received any calls from citizens regarding problems with starlings." USDA officials have been tracking the birds. They believe the birds are moving to the area later in the season this year, and for the most part, the flock that is here stays in Grand Island the majority of the year.
Signs in False Shepherds & False Religion
"For among them are those who worm their way into households and capture idle women burdened down with sins, led along by a variety of passions, always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so these also resist the truth, men who are corrupt in mind, worthless in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress, for their lack of understanding will be clear to all, as theirs was also." 2 Timothy 3:6-9
New temple offers insight into Buddhism
By KATHY CICHON, Suburban Chicago News, January 19, 2009
Chicago, USA — It was a double celebration Saturday night inside the International Buddhist Progress Society Chicago temple. Members gathered to give an early welcome to the Chinese New Year, and they also celebrated the grand opening of the temple's new building. Located on 5 acres along Route 53 in the unincorporated area between Woodridge and Naperville, the temple is housed in a former barn. With its renovation complete, members are welcoming the public to visit and learn more about Buddhism and Chinese culture. "We want to utilize this to the maximum capacity in any way we can," said Venerable Manpou, Buddhist nun and director of the temple. "Come here, have some tea with us, have a chat, talk about anything. Treat it like a community center, like part of your home."
Fla. Trial Set for 2 Priests Accused of Theft
By KELLI KENNEDY Associated Press Writer
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. January 20, 2009 (AP)
Two priests who authorities say for years stole cash from their Florida church's offering plate and hid it in the church ceiling and offshore bank accounts to pay for lavish lifestyles will soon face a judge. Their trial is scheduled to start Wednesday in an embezzlement case authorities say could be one of the biggest to hit the U.S. Catholic Church. Before prosectutors could charge them with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, the Rev. Francis Guinan and Monsignor John Skehan fled the country in 2006, leaving their parishioners amid an international scandal.
Priest stole from church to gamble
22 January 2009
DELRAY BEACH, Florida — As reported by the Times Online: "Every Sunday, the parishioners of St Vincent Ferrer Catholic church in Florida dropped their dollar notes into the collection plate, confident that the money would go straight into the church. "And so it did – but not in quite the way they might have expected.
New evangelical leader criticises Archbishop of Canterbury
Thursday, 22nd January 2009
By: A staff reporter.
The new chairman of the Church of England Evangelical Council (CEEC) has begun his tenure by criticizing the theological stance of Dr Rowan Williams as ill behoving the office of Archbishop of Canterbury. The Ven Michael Lawson, the Archdeacon of Hampstead, told The Church of England Newspaper: “Rowan’s theological method is reflective and in a sense poetic. It’s a valuable contribution to the discussion. But there is a distinction to be drawn between even the best kind of speculative theology and the leadership required of an Archbishop.”
Bishop's Holocaust remarks spark outrage, threaten Jewish-Vatican ties
By The Associated Press
The Vatican's relations with Jews risked a new crisis Friday after an excommunicated British bishop – reportedly in line for rehabilitation – said that historical evidence "is hugely against 6 million Jews having been deliberately gassed" during World War II. Sadly, along with that has come the fact that it's almost socially unacceptable to say you believe in God," The Telegraph quotes Vine, as saying.
